Coach Mike

HEAD OF OPERACTIONS - RONDO FC

I've dedicated 25 years to working with young people, and 12 years in the EDUCATION SERVICE.

With this passion, I've inspired young people to participate in physical activities through PE, football coaching and running sports camps. Through this experience - I've upskilled myself in many other settings from learning support worker, to behaviour mentor, P.E. leader and different roles.

I have acquired the ability to tackle and encourage students to understand the importance of physical education. I believe sports should be delivered in a fun way - with young people still learning simultaneously so they are still being challenged. PE should be inclusive and child-friendly, so children can excel and be inspired.

Through coaching, I've developed empathy to motivate young people to give more effort, and increase their confidence, and even their self-worth!
